Acupuncture
€65.00

Experience individualized acupuncture care with Sarah Carter, L.Ac., through The Human Ecology Method. Drawing on the principles of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), each session is tailored to your needs, health history, and current concerns.

Acupuncture uses fine needles placed at specific points on the body to support the body's natural regulatory processes. Treatment may be used as part of a broader approach to managing stress, muscle tension, pain, sleep concerns, and other health-related goals.

This is acupuncture for general health. This is a full-body, in-person acupuncture session. The session lasts 45-60 minutes. Please wear loose-fitting clothing and avoid caffeine for 1-3 hours prior. Exercise is better before than after; while it is safe to exercise after acupuncture, you may feel less interested in exercising afterward.

With a background in acupuncture, herbal medicine, and holistic health practices, Sarah takes an integrative approach that recognizes the relationship between the individual and their wider environment.

Herbal Medicine
€65.00

Explore an individualized approach to herbal medicine with Sarah Carter, L.Ac., through The Human Ecology Method. This 30-minute assessment provides an opportunity to discuss your health concerns, current symptoms, lifestyle, and goals, and consider how herbal medicine may fit into your broader approach to health.

Drawing on traditional Chinese medicine, herbal knowledge, and holistic health principles, Sarah considers your concerns within the context of your individual constitution, daily habits, and overall health picture. The assessment may include a review of relevant health history, current medications and supplements, and factors such as digestion, sleep, energy, and seasonal influences.

Based on your needs, the session can help identify appropriate next steps, which may include individualized herbal recommendations, dietary and lifestyle considerations, or a recommendation to seek further medical assessment where appropriate.

Herbal medicine is not a one-size-fits-all approach. The goal is to consider the individual, their circumstances, and the wider patterns that may be relevant to their health. The herbal treatment includes the cost of one week of your prescribed herbal formula.

Cosmetic Facial Acupuncture
€100.00

Natural facial rejuvenation through the art of Chinese medicine.

Cosmetic acupuncture offers a thoughtful, whole-person approach to facial rejuvenation, combining specialized facial acupuncture techniques with the principles of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). Rather than treating the face in isolation, this practice considers the relationship between your skin, circulation, facial tension, overall health, and the natural changes that come with time.

Drawing on training in Mei Zen Cosmetic Acupuncture and Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture, Sarah Carter, L.Ac., offers an individualized treatment approach designed to support healthy-looking skin and a refreshed, vibrant appearance.

Fine acupuncture needles are placed at selected points on the face and, where appropriate, the body. Within traditional Chinese medicine, treatment considers the movement of Qi and Blood, the body's energetic patterns, and the connection between internal health and external appearance. Facial acupuncture may also support local circulation and the body's natural tissue responses.

Depending on your individual needs and treatment plan, sessions may incorporate facial and scalp massage, along with recommendations for skincare, nutrition, and lifestyle practices that complement your treatment.

The intention is to support your natural beauty, not change who you are. Cosmetic acupuncture offers a more gradual, non-surgical approach to facial care, with the aim of softening the appearance of fine lines, supporting skin tone and texture, and encouraging a brighter, more rested complexion. Individual results vary, and a course of treatments is generally recommended rather than relying on a single session.

At The Human Ecology Method, facial rejuvenation is approached as part of a wider relationship with yourself: caring for the skin you live in while tending to the health, habits, and inner ecology that support you through every season of life.

“Their strategic framework aligned our disparate processes and produced measurable gains within one quarter.”
